- Location: Western Box Elder County, in Northwest Utah, 30 miles east of Nevada state line, and 27 miles south of the Idaho state line, approximately 4 ½ miles east of Utah State Highway 30.
- Access: From Interstate 80 at the Utah/Nevada state line, go west 32 miles to the Oasis, Nevada Exit. Go Northeast on Nevada Highway 233 approximately 35 miles to the Utah state line. The highway now becomes Utah Highway 30. Continue on Highway 30 another 33 miles to a gravel road to the right (east), just beyond mile marker 33. Go 7.4 miles east to Dove Creek Road to the left (north). Go 3.0 miles to the property. Dove Creek Road goes through the property and connects with Highway 30 about 100 yards northeast of mile marker 42. To access the property from the north, exit Highway 30 just before mile marker 33, and follow the above directions. Metal fence posts have been placed on the right side of the road as you enter the property from either the south or north.
- Topography: The property is rolling, and hilly in places.
- Soil: The soil is sandy with gravel in places.
- Vegetation: Sagebrush and other vegetation typical of high desert. Some scattered juniper and cedar trees.
- Water: Water rights would have to be applied for with the Utah Division of Water Rights
- Views: Spectacular views of the Grouse Creek Mountains to the west and the Raft River Mountains to the north.
- Elevation: About 5,300 feet.
- Wildlife: Jack Rabbits, coyotes and antelope abound throughout the area. Elk populate the nearby mountains.
- Area: This area of northwest Utah is very sparsely populated. Lower elevations have traditionally been used for cattle grazing.
